Draw a basic line map of the property. Google Earth is a source for aerial maps.
Mark existing Station locations. Mark dog walking paths.
Mark all locations where dog waste was observed uncollected on the ground (take photos).
2) Document Condition of all Existing Stations
Take photos of all stations showing rust, damage, graffiti, missing lids, faded components, peeling labels, broken latches, mismatched components.
Identify needed repairs station by station. Ex: Station 1: needs new lid for trash can. Dispenser rusted. Station 2: peeling and faded dispenser label, trash can dented, post bent. Entire Station needs replacing.
Identify locations for additional stations or station re-locations based on uncollected waste observed on ground. Photograph where waste is observed uncollected on the ground.
3)PROPOSAL FOR SERVICE: SUBMIT to PROPERTY MANAGER, in Binder or Power Point Presentation:
1) Floor plan of community—identify stations and uncollected waste observed
2) Photos of existing stations, close-ups photos of damage.
3) Photos of uncollected waste.
4) List of replacements/repairs recommended to bring the program up to community standards.
Identify on Floor Plan NEW stations and/or RELOCATION of stations proposed.
5) Sample of resident notice (PDF for email or door hangars) to assist property manager in getting residents to comply with clean-up regulations and responsibilities.
6) Quote for maintaining property’s Dog Waste Program.
Weekly or monthly price per Station. Price for bags, if not included in weekly price.
